Chuck grew up in a family owned construction business. His grandfather and his father along with his father's brothers were seasoned and masterful carpenters. So, it was only natural that Chuck follow in the footsteps of the men before him. One thing his dad taught him was to never specialize in one area. So, Chuck learned it all. Custom cabinetry, plumbing, framing, roofing, drywall, remodeling, painting, electrical and the list goes on.
The experience in both residential and commercial building has made Chuck versatile and has given him the ability to respond to problem solving in unique ways and from different angles. Chuck has 30 years of experience built upon the generational knowledge of his family lineage that has enabled him to be successful in his business. Along with experience and applicable ability, Chuck has built his business on RELATIONSHIPS. He firmly believes that his success is in direct proportion to his relationships not only in his personal life but in business as well. In short, he takes care of his customers and builds long lasting relationships with them that have turned into treasured friendships. Placing in his heart, Family.
Chuck started out in the business like many young boys, helping his dad on the job. By age 12, a young Chuck, was running a metal brake on his own for his dad and by 16 he was setting trusses and framing homes and pole buildings. His 17th year he travelled with his dad through the states of Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska and Montana replacing windows and siding. When Chuck graduated high school he continued to work for his father's company. When Chuck went off to college he gained a degree in Construction Management and Civil Engineering and practiced as a Structural Engineer. As time went on Chuck met his wife Susan and ended up relocating to Mississippi. In the crash of 2008 Chuck found himself without work and pulled from the knowledge he had built growing up in Durango, Colorado with his dad. Chuck began helping neighbors in his neighborhood repairing homes, decks or a fence. Neighbors and friends urged Chuck to start his own business. After some soul searching and long talks with his wife Susan, Chuck made the decision to start Moenning Enterprises.
